I’ve lived in quite a few cities now — Cardiff, Manchester, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane - and no matter where I end up, I always find myself searching for the quiet parts. The small, calm scenes that don’t really fit the idea of what city life is supposed to be. For some reason, those moments make me feel at home, even in places built up and constantly moving. That’s what I try to capture in my photos: the gentle pauses that are easy to miss but always worth noticing.
