EDGE OF ELSEWHERE
What I imagine when I’m taking landscape photos is this long, endless time-lapse of everyone who’s ever stood in these places. We’re all just passing through, really. One day our grandchildren’s grandchildren will look out at the same cliffs, feel the same spray of a wave, watch lightning split the same sky. There’s something comforting about knowing these moments repeat themselves, no matter who we are or when we arrive. Thinking about that makes me appreciate my own life a little more, and I hope that anyone who stumbles across my photos feels even a small part of that connection too.
